Figure Drawing is an intensive 5-day drawing workshop focusing on how to accurately draw the human figure. Using a system of measurements and anatomical landmarks, students will learn to efficiently and accurately construct the human figure. Both short poses and sustained poses will be used throughout the week, allowing students to exercise the necessary stages of figure drawing.

Emphasis will be on correctly proportioned figures with strong gesture.

In addition to concentrated, individual instruction, demonstrations and lectures will be given throughout the workshop to help illustrate many of the concepts and techniques imperative to accurate figure drawing.
