INFORMATION and REGISTRATION
OFFERING IS FULL!
Stay tuned here for more wild drawing in the coming months!
Come experience life-drawing in a non-traditional format. QuickDraw is a high-energy afternoon of 'OPEN', uninstructed gesture and short-pose figure drawing. Each session takes on a new theme and utilizes clothed models in order to provide artists of all ages, multi-aged groups, and families the opportunity to engage in figure drawing in an open and creative environment. The all-age sessions incorporate members of the regional performing arts community, including improvisational musicians, dancers, actors and more! For those new to drawing, each session will begin with a short demonstration on how to draw the figure quickly and answers to the question “Why draw?”
Participants must bring their own drawing supplies, sketchbook, and drawing board (if needed).
Saturday, February 17, 2018, 3-4:30pm
All courses and demos are hosted at Manifest's Drawing Center Studios in Madisonville at 4905 Whetsel Avenue (second floor) (see map and directions below). Manifest's studio facility provides two classrooms totalling nearly 4000 square-feet. The
studios are outfitted with professional equipment, furniture, and study aids.
Drawing horses and easels as well as storage shelf space are available on a first-come first served basis. Supplementary seating, including chairs, stools, and cushions is also available. Course participants should provide for their own supplies and drawing board.
