statement

My art has consistently been about examining corporality and what it means to live in ones skin. This body of work is the result of experimenting in my studio. It started as a private meditative performance for the camera. The images were then printed onto transparencies where the pigment got manipulated in various ways. This process created ethereal transformations that bridge photography and painting, while distorting the traditional boundaries of what we consider to be human or animal, physical or spiritual, peaceful or disturbing.
